But, most importantly, everyone loves an anime character that exudes male testosterone more than anyone. It may be on the way this character was portrayed, maybe in his character design, his voice (seiyuu), his skills, and of course, his overall package.

The Sunday Currently | 02

Hello again! This week was a mix of good and bad for me. It was good because I became more productive and was able to blog more while it was bad, because my HDD got corrupted and there was no way to save the files I have stored in there. To think that I got 6 years worth of data saved in that 1TB HDD. It truly was the absolute worst! I felt so devastated, it was more painful than a breakup!

Anyway, I decided to move on and face the reality that I have no backup files in my arsenal. Goodness, gracious. All the pictures, videos, and memes gone in an instant! WHY!!?? Perhaps God is asking me to go out more often and create new memories? Is that it?

Fine. All these rants and I’m not going anywhere. Let’s just ditch that complain of mine.

CURRENTLY

READING

Various journals, dissertation, and articles from ProQuest because I’m working on my aunt’s requirement for her Masters degree. She passed her work on me due to the fact that I have nothing better to do than watch anime, The Society (netflix show), and read manga. Anyway, I’m actually a graduating student this coming June 7 with a Masters Degree in Business Administration. (I finally finished my thesis and will be able to graduate on time!)

WRITING

Calligraphy practice! I decided to enjoy life and buy those inviting pens from the bookstore. To be honest, I am fascinated with those calligraphy videos from Youtube that I decided to invest and de-stress on it.

LISTENING

La La La by Naughty Boy ft. Sam Smith. From the very first time I heard it on World of Dance USA, I knew that it was going to be one of my go-to shower songs. Plus, I also love the lyrics embedded in the song. Confession! I already memorized the song.

THINKING

of my bills. ADULTING SURE IS HARD! I really just want to go back to college, become a student once again and think that the world will not become shittier once I graduated.  MOOD.

SMELLING

My perfume. I might have sprayed too much. It was a GUCCI perfume given to me by my ever supportive Mom.

WISHING

For peace of mind! I think that sooner or later I will be having my midlife crisis. Knowing myself, I have nothing planned in the future. I just don’t feel like thinking too much. I just wanted to enjoy the present, and leave everything in the future Me (HA! SO MARSHALL AND TED!). You see, all my relatives and workmates have already asked me what was my plan after I graduated from my Masters degree. Guess what? I HAVE NOTHING PLANNED FOR ME SO LET’S ALL SHUT UP AND LIVE OUR OWN LIVES PEACEFULLY. (STRESS!)

HOPING

That all things will be put in their right place, in the right time in the future. That’s it.

WEARING

A gray t-shirt matched with a gray square pants. On top of that, loafers and a striped hoodie. Very gloomy and very me again.

LOVING

The YouTube channels of Anna Cay, Rei Germar, and Team Payaman. I don’t know, they all make me want to create my own channel as well. Obsessed with them this week. lol. Most especially with CongTV and JunnieBoy! They make me laugh a lot which is really good for my heart.

WANTING

To travel. My feet are already shaking. The waves are calling me again in Palawan! I’ve been to El Nido and Puerto Princesa Palawan last year, and God knows how much I wanted to go back. Guess I have to wait for September to travel again! Please pray for my visa to get approved so that I’ll be in Japan by September.

NEEDING

Milk Tea is definitely a NEED not a WANT for me. MATCHA flavored specifically. END OF CONVERSATION!

FEELING

Again, devastated with what happened to my HDD. If I can go back in time just to save it, then I will! Damn that PC. It wasn’t my fault. I connected it with my PC and then all of sudden, the power was cut off and the next thing I know, my HDD cannot be recognized with 0% capacity and 0 MB.storage.WTF UGH!hhhhhh

NO OUTRO. BYE-BYE!

It was the unluckiest night of the week as my HDD got corrupted and all hell breaks loose in my attempt to fix it. The reason I’m here and writing this episode review is that I already raised my flag up and decided to watch Episode 4.

(I HOPE EVERYTHING WILL BE OK SOON. I HAVE 5 YEARS OF DATA INSIDE THAT HDD.)

The Sunday Currently | 01

Yes, I am joining the bandwagon, AGAIN. Actually I have been doing blog entries for the Sunday Currently ever since I was in college and that was friggin 4 years ago. With that in mind, I have been with WordPress for this blog, this second blog, and also this one. Unfortunately, I might have forgotten all the passwords I used for those domains hence, I do not have the ability to access them right now. *To think that my animememories site will reach a thousand views soon which makes me sad*

CURRENTLY

Reading

The Promised Neverland

Yakusoku no Neverland  (Japanese: 約束のネバーランド) manga written by Kaiu Shirai and illustrated by Posuka Demisu. I picked up the manga two days ago after I finished binge watching the 12-episode anime adaptation. I decided to read the manga because of two reasons: (1. I can’t wait until 2020 to see the second season and 2. I need to know that my children are well and safe afterwards). I’m on Chapter 68 out of 134, and probably going to catch up sooner than I think. (I have more free time now since I finished everything with regards to graduate school requirements. fufu)

Writing

This blog post. I realized how bad my blog entries were back in the days. I talked and shared about a once favorite local love team in the Philippines (Aldub), poems for husbandos, and the suppose to be completed 30 days of Anime (which was cut short until day 15 because of school requirements). Perhaps I’ll be able to continue them again in the future, let’s see!

Listening

Sunflower by Post Malone and Swae Lee. I have been jamming to this song for the past few weeks after I heard it from the Spiderman movie. (No, not the Homecoming, the animated one which is Into the Spider-verse). As Miles Morales said, the song never fails to relax and comfort me during times of stress, anxiety, and doubt. Actually, the soundtrack for the movie is insanely good. Another one of my favorite is Scared of the Dark by Lil Wayne and Ty Dolla Sign. Motivational? YESSSSS.

Thinking

of my delayed orders from a local toy store. I ordered the Freddie Mercury Funko Pop! versions of him in long and short hair months ago and until today, the parcel is still in-transit. You see, I collect funko pops, anime figures, and even nendoroids. I consider them all my babies, prize possessions, and definitely a holy grail inside my room so I’m really sad thinking that they are until now is not in the safe hands. (I pray that those boxes are not yet damaged. )

Smelling

Do air condition smell? Idk. Maybe?

Wishing

Good health for my loved ones. Last April 22, my Dad got admitted in the ICU due to a syndrome called Mallory Weiss. I do not have the ability to explain it to you thoroughly and professionally, but technically, it was a tear in the upper intestine if I’m not mistaken due to alcoholism (Please, please, keep your alcohol and smoking in moderate levels). We stayed in the hospital for 4 days and fortunately, he’s doing good and is back to his normal routine up to this day. Thank you Lord!

Hoping

that I can maintain this blog for the years to come. Since I procrastinate a lot, this will keep me busy hopefully.

Wearing

a black turtle necked t-shirt matched with a black square pants. I also have my blue banana republic jacket on. Perhaps this will give you a sign that I dote on gloomy colors rather than the warm ones. Fun fact, most of my outfits are black in color.

Loving

my new account here in word press. I mean who doesn’t? I have Levi Ackerman in my website and that’s enough reason for me to make this an exception.

Wanting

to go to Japan as soon as possible. My dream is yet to come!

Needing

an 8 hour sleep or more. I was sleep deprived for the last two days because of anime and games. You know the drill right?  One more episode they say but here you are in the last episode still going strong.

Feeling

TIRED. YOU KNOW, I AM ALWAYS TIRED. WELL, EVERYONE IS, RIGHT?
